Our Services
We offer a wide range of pet care services to meet you and your pets’ needs. Whether you need daily dog walks, multiple visits per day while you’re on vacation, or even an overnight stay with your pet, we’ve got you covered. Here are some of our key services:
-
In-Home Pet Sitting – We provide drop-in visits to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home. This can include feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning or potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love. We can do multiple visits per day to cover breakfast, midday, and evening routines, which is perfect for weekend trips or longer vacations. Your pets get to stay relaxed in their own environment while still receiving attentive care.
-
Overnight Pet Care – For pets who need extra companionship at night, we offer overnight stays in your home. We’ll arrive in the evening and stay through the night to keep your pets company, handling bedtime and morning routines so they never feel alone. It’s almost like having a live-in sitter to give you peace of mind when you travel.
-
Dog Walking – Keep your dog healthy and happy with our dog walking service. We do regular walks (including quick potty break visits or longer walks) to give your pup exercise and potty relief during the day. This service is particularly helpful for pet owners with busy schedules who can’t always give their dogs the midday exercise they need. Whether it’s a short neighborhood stroll or an active hike on a local trail, we’ll make sure your dog gets the activity and attention they crave.
-
Pet Taxi – No time to drive your pet to the vet or groomer? Our Pet Taxi service provides safe, reliable transportation for your pet to and from appointments. We’ll ensure your pet travels comfortably and securely, and we can handle one-way or round-trip as needed. This is a great option if you have mobility issues or a packed schedule but want to make sure your pet never misses an important appointment.
-
Walk & Train – Turn a walk into a training opportunity! Our Walk & Train program combines a 30-minute exercise walk with basic obedience training along the way. During the walk, we’ll work on skills like polite leash walking, sit and stay, recall, and more – all tailored to your dog’s training needs. It’s perfect for reinforcing good manners and mental stimulation while also getting physical exercise.
-
Nail Trims – Does your pet hate going to the groomer just for nail clipping? We offer convenient at-home nail trim services for dogs or cats. We can add a nail trim to a scheduled visit or book it as a standalone service. Regular nail maintenance keeps your pet’s paws healthy, and we make it stress-free by coming to you.

Pet of the Month
Meet Logan, our Pet of the Month!
Logan is a lovable 4-year-old Gordon Setter who has been part of the Town & Country Pet Sitters family for over three years — and every visit with him is a highlight of our day!
He greets his walkers with a wagging tail, a big goofy “smile,” and a ready-to-roll attitude. Logan’s favorite hobbies? Exploring every nook and cranny (even if he’s sniffed it 100 times before!), wildlife watching like a seasoned nature guide, and taking long, peaceful strolls with his favorite humans.
He’s sweet, curious, gentle, and always down for some quiet quality time. Logan gets along with everyone — two-legged, four-legged, and maybe even a few squirrels from a respectful distance.
We absolutely cherish our time with Logan and are so excited to feature him as our Pet of the Month.
Congratulations, Logan!
(Do you want to nominate your pet for Pet of the Month in a future issue? Let us know! We love celebrating our awesome pet clients.)

Seasonal Pet Care Tips – Winter Safety
With the cold weather upon us, here are a few winter pet care tips to keep your furry friends safe and comfortable this season:
-
Keep Pets Warm Indoors: If it’s too cold for you, it’s probably too cold for your pet. Dogs and cats can suffer from exposure, so limit their time outside in freezing temperatures. Pets left outdoors in the cold can become disoriented or risk frostbite and hypothermia. Always provide a warm, draft-free spot for your pet to sleep at home.
-
Protect Those Paws: Snow, ice, and salt can be tough on your pet’s paws. Salt and chemical de-icers can irritate paw pads or even cause stomach upset if licked off. After each walk, wipe your pet’s paws with a damp towel to remove salt and ice. You can also rub a bit of petroleum jelly on paw pads before walks, or use pet booties for extra protection in the snow. Keeping the fur between their toes trimmed can help prevent ice balls from forming.
-
Bundle Up Short-Haired Dogs: Not all pets are built for the cold. If your dog has a thin or short coat, consider putting them in a snug sweater or coat for walks in frigid weather. A coat with a high collar and coverage from belly to tail can help a lot. Likewise, never shave your dog down to the skin in winter – a little fur helps them stay warm!
-
Beware of Antifreeze and Ice Melts: Common winter chemicals can be dangerous. Antifreeze (which often leaks from car radiators) is a deadly poison for pets, attracted by its sweet taste. Keep antifreeze and de-icing products well out of reach, and clean up any spills immediately. Whenever possible, use pet-safe ice melt products on your property. Also, watch that your dog doesn’t sneak a drink from puddles, as they might contain antifreeze or other toxins.
By following these tips, you’ll help ensure your pets stay healthy and happy through the winter. If you have any questions about cold-weather care (like whether your pup needs boots or how to keep indoor cats active during winter), we’re always here to chat and offer advice!
